ABOUT
Riley Jermier is an audio engineer, production manager, and systems specialist based in Nashville, Tennessee. His career bridges the worlds of live production and studio recording, combining technical precision with a practical understanding of what artists, crews, and productions need to succeed.
Originally from Iowa, Riley built his foundation in live sound before relocating to Tennessee to pursue graduate studies in recording at Middle Tennessee State University. Since then, his work has expanded from recording and mixing into touring production, system optimization, RF coordination, playback integration, and large-scale live event execution. Whether advancing a national tour, tuning a PA, programming show control, or mixing a performance, he approaches every project with the same goal: making technology disappear so the audience experiences the show—not the system behind it.
Alongside his touring work, Riley has recorded, mixed, and produced projects across country, pop, singer-songwriter, and contemporary genres. His background in both studio production and live audio provides a unique perspective that allows him to move comfortably between creative and technical roles while communicating effectively with artists, management, vendors, and production teams alike.
Known for his preparation, problem-solving, and calm approach under pressure, Riley has developed a reputation for building efficient workflows, anticipating challenges before they happen, and helping productions run smoothly from advance to load-out. He believes the best engineers are equal parts technician, collaborator, and teammate. When he isn't on the road, Riley continues exploring immersive audio, production technology, and workflow design, always looking for better ways to deliver consistent, repeatable, and exceptional results.
