Hailing from Norwalk, Iowa, Riley is a Midwestern audio engineer with the sound of Nashville records in his work. He is currently a graduate student at Middle Tennessee State University studying Recording Arts and Technologies, with intent to graduate in 2026. At MTSU, Riley serves as the lead engineer for the Chris Young Cafe, one of the premier live venues located on campus. He received his BA in Music from the University of Northern Iowa in 2023, moving officially to Tennessee later that year.
Riley mixes for many projects both in the Nashville area, as well as remotely with clients from across the country. As well as mixing, Riley also offers production and/or recording services utilizing MTSU's on-campus studios, featuring a wide range of high level rooms and equipment to fit your project's needs (SSL Duality, API Vision, SSL 924 AWS, Avid S6).
Riley is an international jazz, classical, and band trumpet player, with some of the performance locations including Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, South Africa, just to name a few. He is also featured on many recorded tracks, such as "Ice Bomb" by No Promises, "Older Girl" and "Secret" by Back Pocket, and "Turbulence" by Levi Temple.
